SPRING HILL 64, HALLSVILLE 62: Jay Rockwell hit a layup with two seconds remaining, and the Spring Hill Panthers held off a late Hallsville rally for a 64-62 win at Panther Gymnasium on Tuesday. Rockwell finished with 21 points, 12 coming in the first quarter when Spring Hill built a 25-10 lead. Hallsville Takes 3rd at Glen Rose Tournament
HALLSVILLE 80, GRANBURY 75, OT: GLEN ROSE - Ben Samples scorched the cords for 32 points as the Hallsville Bobcats outscored the Granbury Pirates 15-10 in overtime to take third place at the Glen Rose Tournament 80-75. Samples rained down six 3-pointers as the Bobcats improved to 9-6 on the season. In addition to Samples, Taven Jackel and Jai Lacario each contributed 12 points to the victory. Halllsville visits Spring Hill Tuesday evening.

Hallsville Takes 3rd at Longview Officials Tournament
HALLSVILLE FINISHES THIRD: Benjamin Samples led a trio in twin figures Saturday afternoon as the Hallsville Bobcats took down the Willis Wildkats 54-46 to take home the third place trophy at Spring Hill’s Longview Officials gathering. Samples poured in 18 points, followed by 17 points from Ryan Pondant and 11 points Taven Jackel. The Bobcats (6-4) had a rough second round Friday, dropping games to both Barbers Hill and Texas High. HALLSVILLE 90, RUSK 46: RUSK — Benjamin Samples poured in 36 points to lead a balanced scoring attack for the Bobcats in a 90-46 Hallsville win over Rusk. Ryan Pondant added 12 points, Tanner Benson 10, Taven Jackel and Jai Locario nine apiece, Joseph Melendez and Trenton Smith four each and David Ruff, Zachar Florence and Connor Smith two each.
