Hallsville Heads for Championship Game at Rains Thanksgiving Tip-Off

HALLSVILLE WINS TWO: RAINS — Shadd Berg had 43 points over two games, lifting Hallsville to a 2-0 day and into the championship game of the Emory Rains Thanksgiving Classic on Monday night.
Hallsville beat Quinlan, 76-47, and followed with a 74-55 win over the Tyler Lee JV to move to 4-0 on the season.
The Bobcats will meet Emory Rains in a crossover game at 10 a.m. today before taking on Royse City in the tournament championship at 6:30 p.m.
Jeremy Swalley had 21 points against Quinlan and followed with 12 against Tyler Lee. Berg dropped 20 against Quinlan and added 23 in the nightcap for Hallsville, who led wire-to-wire in both wins.
Against Quinlan, Kobe Hogan had nine points and added 13 against Lee.
Hallsville had nine different players with points in each game.
