Hallsville Takes Tournament Title at Rains Thanksgiving Tip-Off

HALLSVILLE 71, ROYSE CITY 64: EMORY — Shadd Berg tossed in 25 points, Jeremy Swalley and Kobe Hogan combined for 25 and the Hallsville Bobcats captured the championship of the Rains Thanksgiving Tip-Off with a 71-64 win over Royse City.

Danny Marr had six points, Cameron Bullock and Cameron Puckett four apiece, Ty Huff three and Rowdy Smith and Brenton Allen two apiece for Hallsville, which outscored the Bulldogs 47-32 in the second half.

Hallsville also notched a 73-36 win over Rains. Swalley had 14 points, Marr 13, Smith and Berg 12 apiece, Bullock eight, Huff seven, Tyler Daniel four and Puckett three.
