Hallsville Falls to Mount Pleasant

MOUNT PLEASANT 95, HALLSVILLE 61: MOUNT PLEASANT — Buddy McGill tossed in 21 points, Kevin Savage and Dorian Glinton added 20 apiece and Mount Pleasant pulled away for a 95-61 District 16-5A win over Hallsville.

James Moore added 14 for the Tigers 919-6, 7-0), who outscored the Bobcats 24-7 in the second quarter after the teams had battled to a 19-19 deadlock after one frame.

Blaine Parker scored 21 points to lead the way for Hallsville (19-8, 3-4). Bren Dawson and Kameron Fitzpatrick had nine apiece, Shadd Berg seven, Jeremy Swalley five, Chris Timberlake and Matt Mowery three apiece and Rowdy Smith and Cameron Bullock two each.

Hallsville will host Greenville on Friday.
