Hallsville Falls to Sulphur Springs


SULPHUR SPRINGS 63, HALLSVILLE 51: SULPHUR SPRINGS — Sulphur Springs built a 25-10 halftime lead and held on for a 63-51 District 16-5A win over the Hallsville Bobcats on Friday.

Keaston Willis paced the Wildcats with 17 points. Bryson Lynn added 15, and Michael Jefferson added 10.

Brendarian Dawson had 14 points, Jeremy Swalley 11 and Blaine Parker seven in the loss for Hallsville (18-7, 3-3). Chris Timberlake, Shadd Berg and Matt Mowery all added five, and Kameron Fitzpatrick finished with four.

Hallsville will visit Mount Pleasant on Tuesday.
