Hallsville downs Chapel Hill

HALLSVILLE 69, CHAPEL HILL 47: HALLSVILLE – The Hallsville Bobcats pulled out a 69-47 win over the Chapel Hill Bulldogs Friday night. The win advances the Bobcats to 13-2 overall while the Bulldogs fall to 9-6.

Brendarian Dawson led the Bobcats in scoring with 17 points. Blaine Parker was right behind him with 15. Kameron Fitzpatrick and Jeremy Swalley scored eight points each. Shadd Berg scored seven and Matt Mowery scored six.

Ty Osborn led the Bulldogs in scoring with 13 points.

Hallsville will return to action Tuesday when it opens up District 16-5A play at home against the Mount Pleasant Tigers. Tipoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.
