Ryan Cole led a balanced Bobcat attack with 10 points, and Hallsville used a big second quarter to take control of things en route to a 64-41 District 15-5A win over the Pine Tree Pirates.
Blaine Parker added nine points for Hallsville (21-8, 10-3). Johnathan Mitchell added eight, and Bren Dawson, Nolan Johnson and Coleton Lasseter all scored seven points.
After getting off to an uncharasticly slow start on senior night, the Bobcats trailed 13-10 at the end of the first stanza. Things got untracked after that however, as Hallsville went on a 40 to 7 run to lead 50-20 after three quarters.
Lasseter and Cole each led the Bobcats with 7 rebounds, while Mitchell and Parker each added 6 boards. Chris Timberlake dished out 5 assists, with Johnson and Mitchell each adding 3. Parker added 4 steals, with Timberlake adding 3. Lasseter added 2 blocks.
