Hallsville Bobcats at Mansfield Tournament

Varsity Basketball participated in the Mansfield ISD Tournament December 3-5, 2015. The results are as follows:

Game 1:

Hallsville 61 - Amarillo High 66 (overtime)

Hallsville led late in the game before Amarillo hit a 3 pointer at the buzzer to send the game into overtime. Hallsville could not hold on and went on to loose 66-61.

The Bobcats were led in the scoring column by Nolan Johnson and Johnathan Mitchell with 17 each. Brendarian Dawson and Coleton Lassetter each had 4 rebounds, while Blaine Parker and Lassetter each had 3 steals. Nolan Johnson led the Bobcats with 4 assists.

Game 2:

Hallsville 48 - Arlington Lamar 43

Hallsville was able to build a lead in the second half and make free throws down the stretch to secure the win.

The Bobcats were led in the scoring column by Nolan Johnson with 16 and Blaine Parker with 15. Ryan Cole led with 9 rebounds, while Parker added 6. Johnson added 6 assists, while Parker had 3.

Game 3:

Hallsville 51 - Dallas Madison 53

Hallsville led by 10 at the half - but lost a heart breaker 51-53. Nolan Johnson's desperation 3 at the buzzer went off the back iron.

The Bobcats were led in the scoring column by Blaine Parker with 24. Johnathan Mitchell also contributed 12, and Coleton Lassetter had 9. Johnathan Mitchell had 10 rebounds, while Ryan Cole had 8. Mitchell and Nolan Johnson led the Bobcats with 5 assists each.

Our varsity record stands at 6-2 - Varsity will be at the Decatur tournament on December 10-12.
