HALLSVILLE 74, GREENVILLE 71: GREENVILLE — Jeremy Swalley led three Bobcats into double figures with 26 points, and Hallsville rallied for a 74-71 win over Greenville in District 16-5A action. Kobe Hogan had 16 points and Shadd Berg 15 for the Bobcats, who trailed 24-22 after one quarter, 38-37 at the half and 60-58 heading into the final stanza. Hallsville (15-16, 3-5) will host Pine Tree next Friday.
SULPHUR SPRINGS 48, HALLSVILLE 33: HALLSVILLE — Keaston Willis paced Sulphur with 16 points, and the Wildcats doubled up on Hallsville in the middle two quarters en route to a 48-33 District 16-5A win. Sulphur Springs held a slim 8-6 lead after one quarter, but outscored the Bobcats 32-16 over the next 16 minutes to take control. TEXAS HIGH 86, HALLSVILLE 64: TEXARKANA — Elias Thurman scored 22 points, and a 31-point third quarter by the Tigers lifted Texas High to an 86-64 District 16-5A win over Hallsville. The Bobcats (14-13, 2-3) trailed 19-18 after one quarter and 39-32 at the half before Texas High (11-8, 3-2) broke things open after intermission. HALLSVILLE 99, GREENVILLE 33: HALLSVILLE — Jeremy Swalley scored 27 points, Shadd Berg added 26 and the Hallsville Bobcats (13-11) pulled even at 1-1 in District 16-5A play with a 99-33 win over Greenville. Rowdy Smith joined Swalley and Berg in double figures with 15 points. Jai Lacario added six, Kobe Hogan five, Derrion Harris, Danny Marr and Cameron Bullock four apiece and Brenton Allen and Ty Huff two apiece. Hallsville led 24-10 after one quarter and 43-14 at halftime.
